Following the launch of the new ROCLITE ULTRA G 320, it means that going forward we will have three different trail running shoes in our renowned ROCLITE range. In this blog post we explain the differences between the shoes, as well as highlighting the technologies and benefits of each.
So as not to cause confusion, we have not included the ROCLITE shoes and boots we have in our hiking range.
So, let’s explain more about the ROCLITE ULTRA G 320, ROCLITE G 315 GTX V2 and ROCLITE G 275.

ROCLITE ULTRA G 320 - The long distance one
If you love to feel protected and springy underfoot in a durably cushioned shoe that goes the distance over all types of terrain, this is for you.
The protective ROCLITE ULTRA G 320 – launched in December 2022 – weighs an average of 320g across the size curve and is slightly heavier than the other two shoes, owing to its enhanced technologies.
It has a drop of 8mm (the difference in height between the heel and forefoot) and deeper stack heights meaning the foot sits further from the ground, with greater cushioning underneath it – perfect for longer runs.
Like the other ROCLITE shoes, it features 6mm deep Graphene-enhanced rubber studs on the outsole for the world’s toughest grip and the width in the toe-box is a 3 on our 1-5 scale (1 being the narrowest and 5 being the widest). Being in the middle of our fit scale, the shoe holds the foot securely on rough terrain while allowing comfort room too. Just like the 315 and 275, it also includes a flexible rock plate for underfoot protection from sharp debris.
The midsole foam is our Graphene-enhanced G-FLY foam which, in terms of energy return, propels back 62-65% of the energy you put into every stride. It is also our most protective and durable, thanks to the powers of Graphene, the strongest material in the world.
It comes with a 3mm deep interchangeable BOOMERANG footbed, which gives more energy return versus standard footbeds.
The upper features our improved ADAPTER-FIT technology. This forms a supportive cradle between the heel and arch that pulls in via the laces for a locked-in feel and increased stability over rough terrain.
It also has a new super-tough mesh upper material that delivers greater durability and helps extend the lifespan of the shoes.

ROCLITE G 315 - The waterproof one
If you love to keep your feet dry and protected in a durable shoe that is perfect for trail running, hiking and multi-sport adventures, this is for you.
The hybrid ROCLITE G 315 GTX V2 – launched in November 2022 – is the only waterproof shoe of the three and weighs an average of 315g across the size curve.
It has a drop of 8mm and – like in the 275 – the foot sits closer to the ground versus the 320, delivering higher levels of connection to the trail.
Like the other ROCLITE shoes, it features 6mm deep Graphene-enhanced rubber studs on the outsole for the world’s toughest grip, the width in the toe-box is a 3 on our 1-5 scale (1 being the narrowest and 5 being the widest), and it has a flexible rock plate for underfoot protection from sharp debris.
The midsole foam is our POWERFLOW MAX foam which, in terms of energy return, propels back 52-55% of the energy you put into every stride. It comes with a regular 6mm footed.
Like in the 320, the upper features our improved ADAPTER-FIT technology. This forms a supportive cradle between the heel and arch that pulls in via the laces for a locked-in feel and increased stability over rough terrain.
Renowned GORE-TEX technology repels water and keeps feet both dry and comfortable when running or hiking – perfect for endless adventures.

ROCLITE G 275 - The light, fast one
If you love to feel fast, light and agile in a shoe that connects you to trails, rocks and muddy bogs for a fun ride, this is for you.
The fast-feel ROCLITE G 275 – launched in 2018 – is the lightest of the three shoes, weighing an average of 275g across the size curve.
It has a drop of 8mm and – like in the 315 – the foot sits closer to the ground versus the 320, delivering higher levels of connection to the trail.
The midsole foam is our POWERFLOW foam which, in terms of energy return, propels back 45-48% of the energy you put into every stride. It comes with a regular 6mm footed.
The upper is more stripped-back than the other two ROCLITE shoes, helping it feel lighter, but remain durable for all types of running. The thicker tongue brings added comfort, and the foot is securely held by the cradle overlay that connects the midfoot and heel.
